We pick up where we left off yesterday. Even in the qualifications of Saturday in Singapore Ferrari shines with the pole position of Charles Leclerc who will start in front of Sergio Perez and Lewis Hamilton.
Leclerc: "Super happy"
Super Charles who hits the ninth pole position of the season. The goal must now be very clear: try to take advantage of the great result obtained today. The pilot of the Ferrari he knows it and, at the end of the qualification, he declared.
“The audience was fantastic. Nice to have so many people here. Qualifying was very complicated, we didn't know what to do with the tyres. We decided on the softs at the last minute and it paid off. Today was very complicated, I made a mistake on the last lap and I thought we'd lost pole. Instead it was just enough to stay in front, so that's good. I am happy. I'm happy with today's result especially thinking about the Friday we had, being able to complete just a few laps. But we recovered well. We don't have much data for the race but if we do things perfectly we think we can win, I'm sure. The ride was special. On street circuits you are always at the limit, even more so with the track being so damp. In some corners you risk losing the rear. The lap was clean and went well."
