It certainly wasn't an easy Friday for her Ferrari. Many difficulties for the F1-75 which, with the Suzuki GP, it was a bit of a call litmus test after the good performance of Singapore.
Not a great start
It's only Friday, it's clear, but the beginning is absolutely not the best. On a wet Friday, Leclerc doesn't go beyond eleventh place in the FP2, following the third place of FP1. The Monegasque doesn't have a good feeling with the car and he pointed this out during the last session.
Leclerc: "Not bad with the feeling"
There are still many difficulties in the rain but watch out for tomorrow. For the qualifying day, scheduled at 08.00, no rain is forecast and therefore we have hierarchies yet to be established. But if Sunday (as it seems) it should rain, the hope is that there red can improve. Desire and hope present in the heart of Charles who, however, does not give up and, at the end of FP2, this is how he commented on his Friday.
“Overall it was a positive day in terms of performance. The first free practice session went well and I felt comfortable in the car, while the second free practice session was of little significance because my tires were very worn. The weather for tomorrow should be completely different to today so the third free practice session will be particularly important to adapt the car as quickly as possible to the dry conditions and be ready for qualifying.”
