A hypothetical front row that is worth a lot. Under several points of view: mental and physical above all. Ferrari concludes Friday's free practice session in Bahrain in the best possible way. The flying lap and race pace of the Maranello team proved to be excellent, at the levels of Red Bull. The Milton Keynes team seems to be, always momentarily, the only one that can position itself in front of Ferrari with Verstappen. Leclerc knows it who, exclusively to the microphones of Sky Sport F1, declared: “It was only Friday and so there's still ample room for everyone – said Leclerc- but it was still a positive Friday. We have changed so much the car compared to the testsbut it still went well. This is good."
A Leclerc who believes in it sees the potential of his F1-75, without however hiding who is the real favourite: “It looks like we're more or less there. In my opinion we are still slightly behind Red Bull, but tomorrow we'll try to take the next step and hopefully we'll be there to stay ahead. I need to keep pushing and find those small useful margins for tomorrow."
