It was a race to forget for Charles Leclerc. The pilot of Ferrari, in the GP of Miami won once again by Max Verstappen, does not go beyond the seventh position, the same one he had conquered in yesterday's qualifying.
Race to forget
A weekend to be canceled for the Monegasque, who struggled really hard at the start. Despite everything, with the switch to the Hards, Charles tried to recover some positions, without however being able to defend himself from the attack of Lewis Hamilton. There is so much to do in Maranello, as Leclerc himself admitted after the race: "We have so much work to do. We have a car that when it is in ideal conditions goes, But when you're not, it becomes abysmal to drive. I couldn't get around the car at the beginning. With middle school it was really difficult. On the hard ones it went better, but we are absolutely not there. There were so many problems today: we will look at the whole car because I don't think it is the problem of just one component. It's a bit of everything together. We need to understand."
Leclerc: "It's very hard"
On the subject updates brought during this weekend, Leclerc added: "It's very hard to say whether they worked or not. When you're in qualifying you're fighting for pole, while in the race you have to 'pass' them to manage the tyres. When it is like this it is very hard. I hope that the updates we bring can help us out, but the priority is always the same: we need to improve on race pace".
