In interviews following the Brazilian mini-race, Charles spoke generally about his performance. The 26-year-old has defined the finishing position the predetermined one, that is, fighting with the German Black Panthers: “Today we did a good job, in a match from which we expected nothing more. The final fifth position ahead of Lewis, who had qualified on new Softs in the morning, it's an excellent result. They are our rivals in this championship finale and our ability to fight them here is a positive sign.".
The subsequent questions could only fall on the choice of saving a set of new tires for the race. Leclerc's response confirmed that it was a decision already taken to be more aggressive in the long race. In his opinion, however, the speed demonstrated in the Sprint finale is to keep an eye on: "In the Sprint Shootout we didn't use the new Soft train plus that I saved on Friday, and that we will use it on Sunday in the long race. So we knew we couldn't attack too much, but we were still fast".
La P2 for Sunday's race it is an obviously good placement well to hope the Fans, and who knows if the red rubber isn't it the key for a can victory.
