After a singular day of Friday, Charles expresses himself Leclerc on FP1 and FP2 in Las Vegas. Free practice sessions marked by Sainz's accident with the manhole and the postponement of FP2 to 2,30 local time, for a total duration of an hour and a half.
Ferrari's objectives
A chaotic Friday, therefore, but overall positive for Charles Leclerc. This is his first place at the end of FP2 it boosted morale, in fact, even if the Red's race pace wasn't exceptional. The result, however, gives rise to hope, also considering how the Scuderia from Maranello usually fares on street circuits. In Baku there was the podium for Leclerc, in Singapore even the victory for Sainz. As already last year, also in 2023 the "speciality" of the Ferrari of this era is the dry ride. All these data encourage us to believe in a good race, also in view of the second constructors' place, for which the Red team is fighting against Mercedes.
However this guy flies
Leclerc: “It was a very different day than usual. With free practice 1 concluded after just four laps, we had to cover as many kilometers as possible in the second session, in which we had 90 minutes using four sets of tyres".

Leclerc after FP2 in Las Vegas: “We completed a good number of laps”
Thus ends the interview with Charles Leclerc"The shift was productive because we managed to complete a good number of laps and I enjoyed driving on this track. For now it seems that we are quite competitive, but the weekend is still long. We have a very tight deadline to prepare for tomorrow, so we will work hard to maintain this form.”
