Last weekend at Baku, luck seemed to turn in the right direction, that of Leclerc. A week after the double pole position in Azerbaijan, the Monegasque found himself having to deal with one treacherous trail, in which the risk does not always pay off.
Leclerc: "Making the same mistake is unacceptable"
La qualification today seemed to be a good start for the rider Scuderia Ferrari. Leclerc, in fact recorded times from provisional pole position. Especially in Q2, where Charles managed to secure second position thanks to a breathtaking ride. The number #16 had just launched when he found himself a wall of cars in front of him. He glibly filed past them, but everyone watching gasped.
In Q3, to grab pole, Leclerc takes some risks more. A block ruins his time trial and in the attempt after ends up in the barriers. Interviewed on the microphones of Sky Sports F1 said: “Today I could find many excuses, but I wanted this setup and I knew it would be difficult to drive. It is not acceptable to do that same error twice, in FP2 and qualifying. I am not happy of my performance and I'm angry with myself."

“I will do everything to make it a good race”
He then went on to admit that just like in Baku, Miami also took a few more risks – “I'm good at extracting the maximum from the car in Q3, I take more risks than the others, but this time I was wrong".
When asked if he's worried about the tire management, Charles Leclerc replies: “RedBull he has one phenomenal tire management and it was also seen in free practice. The weather now appears uncertain, with some pioggia, we will see. I I hope for a clean race where you can go back front".
