During qualifying for the Miami Grand Prix there is a sensational twist! Charles Leclerc went into the block in his last attempt in Q3. Another bad mistake by the Monegasque which, after making a mistake yesterday, he was unable to avoid another impact with the wall.
Leclerc on the wall. Verstappen pays the bill
A mistake that costs the Monegasque who will start tomorrow from seventh position. So it won't be easy for him at all, considering the difficulties on the race pace Ferrari has shown that he has since the beginning of this season. Leclerc will start with Esteban Ocon next to him but he will have to be very careful to look behind the lines. Following his accident, with the display of the red flag, Verstappen was unable to make the last attempt and will start tomorrow from ninth place.
Unmissable race tomorrow
Pole position therefore goes to Sergio Perez which closes in front of Fernando Alonso and to Carlos's Ferrari Sainz. Exceptional fourth position for Magnussen, ahead of Pierre Gasly and George Russell. Seventh place, as mentioned, for Leclerc followed by Ocon, with Verstappen and Bottas closing the top ten. With a crazy starting grid, and the rain hypothesis, you can't not follow tomorrow's race which will start at 21.30!
