It was a beautiful race, in which we didn't see the usual Red Bull dominance. Despite this, he still wins Max Verstappen finishing ahead of Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes. Let's discover together the report cards of the top ten of the Canadian Grand Prix.
GP Canada, the report cards: the podium
Max Verstappen
Performance, as always, impeccable. From a driving point of view, he did absolutely nothing wrong, even if he wasn't able to dominate like the other races. But the vote can only always be the same: pole, victory - the most important - which allows him to catch up with the great Ayrton. Vote 10.
Fernando Alonso
He didn't have a great start, but his overtaking on Hamilton mid-race allowed him to get back to the front and hold on until the end. Rating 8.
Lewis Hamilton
He gave everything. The smoke from her left front speaks clearly. A new Mercedes was born from Barcelona. Another podium taken home and driving - considering Russell's withdrawal - impeccable. Rating 8.
Off the podium at the Canadian GP
Charles Leclerc
What a Ferrari! Wonderful result for Leclerc, especially considering his starting position. The strategy, combined with no mistakes made while driving and the excellent pace I had, was incredible. That Canada may have been the game of restart... Rating 8.5.

Carlos Sainz
Same thing happened with Charles. However, analyzing his weekend, Saturday weighs heavily and also costs him the end of the GP behind his teammate. But the facts speak for themselves: starting eleventh he reached the top five. Rating 8.
Sergio Perez
The comeback was made, but what a lot of effort. Once again the Mexican struggles during a weekend. Sixth place which, considering his teammate, can hardly be considered an excellent result. Rating 5.

Alexander albon
He was the best in yesterday's qualifying - in which he reached the top ten, ninth to be precise - and the best in the race. Impeccable strategy also from Williams: this is Formula 1 too. Score 10.
Esteban Ocon
Not a brilliant performance. He didn't lap on Friday and managed to reach the top ten in qualifying, as well as in the race. Rating 6.5.
Lance stroll
Bad weekend from the landlord. Ninth position is the result of a five-second penalty by Norris. He only shines at the end, overtaking Bottas at the last corner. He makes a lot of mistakes and never manages to shine. Rating 5.5.
Valtteri Bottas
On Friday he demonstrated that he had a feeling for this track. Comeback completed, thanks also to an excellent strategy. Important point for both him and the team. Rating 7.
