A season of ups and downs
In the first part of the season, Aston Martin was trailing the second fastest car on the track. The podiums won by Fernando Alonso demonstrate this. Then came the Canada. Aston, like all the other top teams, brought a series of updates to try and develop the car. News which, however, they did not prove successful. A phase of decline has begun for the Silverstone team, with enormous difficulties emerging both for Fernando Alonso, but above all for Lance Stroll, several times excluded from Q1. Debacle that forced Aston Martin to climb from second to fifth position in the constructors' championship.

The situation certainly wasn't the best for the Canadian, so much so that his possible farewell at the end of the season was discussed several times. In the latest performances, however, it seems that the whole team (from the car to the drivers) has recovered. With two races to go, Las Vegas and Abu Dhabi, Stroll finally announced his choice: will remain in Aston Martin. The Canadian, in fact, promises love both to Aston, but above all to Formula 1: “The program seems to me to be very clear: I'll stay here also il next year. It was a season that put me to the test several times, in which – Stroll admitted – there were both very beautiful moments but at the same time frustrating days like those in the last few weeks. But, don't worry: my idea is to stay and keep pushing".

Therefore, there are no longer any doubts: Lance Stroll will remain at Aston Martin starting next season. The Canadian can focus on the latest two races of the season in which he will have to try to give some joy to his Fantasy Managers Fanta F1, although its average points, equal to 2.7, it doesn't bode well.
