The starting grid of the Qatar GP is opened by him: Max Verstappen. The three times sample of the world takes home the title in Sprint of the Qatar GP and today he will start in front of everyone. McLaren should have been alongside him and instead we find Russell's Mercedes which seems to have a little more, also following yesterday's Sprint, than teammate Hamilton who will start in third position. Fourth time, however, for Fernando Alonso. His teammate is in enormous difficulty and he tries to take the Aston brand to the top, with the aim of defending against McLaren for fourth place in the constructors' championship. Qatar's starting grid never ceases to amaze. In fact, a penalty arrived a few hours before the GP for a driver who will be forced to start from the Pit Lane!
The Top 10 in Qatar
Fifth position for the first Ferrari, which is that of Charles Leclerc. In the Sprint, in which Charles was penalized for exceeding track limits, the SF-23 seemed to be in clear difficulty and really unpleasant to drive. Next to number #16 on the starting grid, the winner of the mini-race, that is Oscar Piastri. Behind them the two Alpines with Gasly and Esteban Ocon, followed by Bottas and Norris who close the top ten.

Perez will start from Pit Lane
Eleventh place for a surprising Tsunoda, who is looking for redemption following yesterday's very difficult Sprint. Those who absolutely want to gain positions are Carlos Sainz, twelfth, and Alexander Albon, who yesterday managed to get into the points by gaining an exceptional seventh position (also thanks to Leclerc's penalty). The Thai driver will take the place of Sergio Perez, who following yesterday's accident will be forced to start from Pit Lane due to having built a replacement chassis, as happened to Sargeant in Suzuka. The difficult period therefore continues for Sergio who has also changed all the elements of the Power Unit.
In fourteenth position we find Nico Hulkenberg. Fifteenth position for Logan Sergeant, which confirms Williams' difficulties, combined with that of Lance Stroll. For the Canadian the situation is starting to get really thorny. The Aston driver will, in fact, start in sixteenth place alongside Liam Lawson who has never managed to find the right feeling with the track so far. At the bottom of the grid the Haas of Magnussen, also in clear difficulty in the Sprint compared to his teammate, and Guanyu's Alfa Romeo Zhou.
