Jock Clear will be the new director of Ferrari Driver Academy. This was announced by the Scuderia itself which, in communicating the new role that Clear will occupy starting from 2024, welcomed Yarn in skeins (the engineer that the Briton will replace) who has decided - as stated in the press release - to leave Classic Ferrari for sale "to start a new professional adventure".
Clear director of the Ferrari Driver Academy: the drivers go from 8 to 6
With the announcement of Clear, therefore, Ferrari will be able to officially begin to open the dance with the dedicated project at the Academy. The FDA will have a good foundation you are pilots. The star, almost useless to specify, will be Oliver Bearman, which is preparing to compete in its second season in Formula 2. In Formula 3, however, there is room for Beganovich, while Camara he will be busy in Formula Regional. Besides him, there will also be I kill, fresh from promotion after making his single-seater debut in 2023 in Italian Formula 4. To close the list of young drivers belonging to Ferrari, there will be Weug e noble which should be confirmed within the F1 Academy.

Arthur Leclerc out, but doesn't say goodbye to Ferrari
The number of pilots included in the FDA program will therefore increase from eight to six. Two notable exclusions. On the one hand, in fact, there is Arthur Leclerc, Charles' younger brother, who decided to leave the Academy project but still remain in the Scuderia di Maranello family. He does not rule out - as Motorsport.com Italia reports - that his future could be GT-branded. Different story, however, for Wharton who officially leaves Ferrari (and not just the Driver Academy), therefore deciding to say goodbye to the Maranello team.
