Here we are back with our column aimed at getting to know the female drivers who will liven up the grid in the 7 races that make up the championship of F1 Academy 2024. Today we talk about the face already known to the academy as it was present last season: Jessica Edgar. The British driver will race with Rodin Motorsport.
Jessica Edgar and her career in motorsport
Jessica Edgar born on March 15, 2005 with British nationality. He began his career in Karting in 2010. In 2013 he moved to the Cadet category and in 2017 he won the Karting championship. Cumbria Kart Racing Club in Rowrah. In 2018, again in karting, he competes in the Mini x30 category. In this same category in 2029 she comes second in Motorsport UK Kartmasters Grand Prix and fourth in British Kart Championship.
In the same year, Jessica takes part in the FIA Motorsport Games of Karting Slalom Cup. In 2022 he switches to single-seaters racing with Fortec Motorsport since GB4, achieving a podium and finishing in the top 10 in most races.

In 2023 he drives for Rodin in F1 Academy finishing eighth with a total of 114 points. With the same team she is ready to compete in the upcoming season. In fact, Jessica completed the team lineup, alongside the female riders Abbi Pulling e Lola Lovinfosse.
The resolutions for the new 2024 season
Edgar, who will race in the F1 Academy livery for the opening round in Jeddah, will be looking to improve on his already strong career. Last season he achieved promising results such as the podium in Race 1 in Spielberg, Monza and Austin. Furthermore, in the last stage he obtained his first victory in the category.
For her return, Jessica is feeling in good shape and positive towards the season that begins on March 7th, intent on further expanding her skills.
