There's no good news coming from Losail. During qualifying for the Qatar GP, Carlos Sainz finished in twelfth position. A truly disappointing result for the Spanish driver who missed out on Q3, not confirming the good things seen in the race first and only free practice session. However, it didn't end here: in addition to Sainz, in fact, there was also Sergio Perez was unable to get back into the top ten, qualifying just behind Sainz in thirteenth position.
Surprise results
Both Sainz and Perez received a disappointing result, which did not reflect their expectations. It was known that Qatar could be a complicated track for the Ferrari and, at least for now, the images on board demonstrate the difficulties of Sainz, but also of Leclerc, in knowing how to manage a really unstable SF-23. The opposite is true, however, for Sergio Perez who continues his moment of enormous crisis as his teammate Verstappen – needless to say – he continues to dominate and hopes to become world champion this weekend. It should be remembered, in fact, that these results are valid for the race scheduled for Sunday, while Saturday will be dedicated exclusively to the format Sprint, with the Shootout – scheduled for 15.00 pm – which will be followed by the mini-competition at 19.30 pm.

Sainz and Perez excluded in qualifying in Qatar: disappointment also at Fanta F1
Bad news also for the Fanta-Mangers who had chosen to focus on Sainz and Perez. With their failure to qualify for Q3, both drivers at FantaF1 take only 1 point, very little considering their value, but who knows they might not redeem themselves during the rest of the weekend.
