The Horner case is becoming more and more complex and after the scandal linked to the alleged messages, first of a sexual nature, then threatening to an employee, now the Red Bull team principal is also under observation for covering up the investigations. After an initial moment of rumors regarding a scandal on one “transgressive and severe” conduct, now the accusations are back on the bench against Christian Horner, Red Bull team principal, against a team employee. The case therefore becomes more and more defined and also appears new.
The Dutch journalist from the Telegraph Erik van Haren, who first began investigating the matter, explained that Horner would have sent sexual messages on a messaging app to a team employee.
Horner attempted to cover up the scandal

Before releasing the news, van Haren himself contacted Horner to ask for explanations about the investigation and the allegations. The answer? Horner's lawyers, according to what was reported in De Telegraaf, would have offered approximately 760 thousand euros to the employee to nip the scandal in the bud with a cover-up of the investigation. However, the girl is determined to continue and take the matter to court.
Although Horner appeared calm and confident regarding his future within the alla team presentation of the new RB20 yesterday, his position is certainly not stable, as is his relationship with his wife and former Spice Girl Geri Haliwell, to whom he has been married since 2015.
Furthermore, a possible dismissal of the Red Bull team principal could trigger a domino effect. According to journalist Peter Windsor, in fact, Horner's farewell could also be followed by that of Adrian Newey, the genius behind the single-seaters of the Milton Keynes team, who would retire from Formula 1.
