Lewis Hamilton in Austria crossed the line about 40 seconds behind the front two, making it to the podium for the third time consecutive. La Mercedes, who hadn't really started the weekend on the right foot, due to the two accidents of Lewis and George in the qualifications on Friday, he placed both cars in the top 5, once again maximizing the result. “We continue to grow”
Prospects weren't the best especially given the great showdown of others up front, like Or with and two o'clock Haas definitely above expectations. Despite this the star team has caught on Austria the maximum result obtainable, thanks to the steadiness with which the pilots and teams manage to get to the checkered flag without significant problems, especially on the front Power Unit. The team also worked hard to allow Hamilton and Russell to compete in FP2 and the Sprint race, getting two cars back on track at the same time. Lewis's required more work given the force of the side impact, and for this the Englishman thanked the men and women of his team several times.
