It's done. Lewis Hamilton will be, starting from 2025, a new driver for Ferrarthe. A negotiation which, as in fairy tales, leads to a happy ending in the best possible way. The seven-time world champion, therefore, at the end of the 2024 season (in which he will continue to drive with Mercedes alongside Russell), will join the Maranello team. As usual, once Hamilton's announcement in Ferrari arrived, there was no shortage of first details on the contract, and also on the salary, which will tie the Briton to the Italian team.

Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton's salary starting from 2025
The rumors are reported by Giuliano Duchessa on Formu1a.uno. Based on what is said, it seems that Hamilton's contract with Ferrari will be two years (1+1) and that his salary will be around, obviously combined with income through sponsors, image rights, bonuses and more, around 100 million dollars a year. Thus, therefore, Hamilton will become one of the highest paid drivers in the history of Ferrari. The desire to see the current Mercedes driver dressed in red is already great. It will be important to understand how he will relate to Leclerc who, when he signed the renewal, was already aware of Hamilton's arrival at Ferrari. Lewis himself, in fact, shortly after the winter break, as told by Toto Wolff, wanted to meet the Mercedes team principal, telling him the decision he had made.
First 2024
In the meantime, there will be great curiosity in understanding how Hamilton and Sainz (that he will give way to the Briton) will be preparing to live their last season in their respective teams. On the one hand, Hamilton is banking on the strength of the car - which so far has greatly disappointed expectations - to be able to try to worry Verstappen, as he still remains a seven-time world champion. Sainz, however, is different and will have to stand out on the track not only to close his relationship with Ferrari in the best possible way, but also to find some team that may be interested in him starting from 2025.
