An unimaginable qualification if you think about how the season began Classic Mercedes for sale. However, the silver arrows have always shown us that their strength is the development of the single-seater. The updates brought by Imola are bearing fruit and, fresh from Russell's victory in Austria, they are continuing to obtain important results.
Russell: “It was a joy to drive here”

The front row at Silverstone is just the icing on the cake. Especially for George who comments on his pole position like this:
"At the beginning of this year we never imagined we would be on pole here, with a one-two and Lando in third place, and the fans always give us a lot of energy. The car came to life during qualifying and it was a joy to drive around this circuit. We have a race to win and it will be very close, but at the moment I am very happy. The audience gives a lot of energy. We are three Englishmen in the top three positions, we could never have dreamed of anything better here at Silverstone".
Hamilton: “The car was going so well today!”
He paid for the lack of speed at corner entry, but Hamilton can certainly say he is happy with his second position:
"We haven't done an update, so the car is pretty much the same as the last race last week. In practice I felt there was a deficit and thought we would have the normal gap between us and the Red Bulls and McLarens, but today the car was so good! It was great. It's the best feeling the car has ever felt. I am really very grateful to the team who worked so hard to perfect the set-up. And congratulations to George, you hit a goal on your home pitch… There's nothing like it".
