Black as the rain clouds on Saturday for Charles Leclerc, who didn't make it to Q3 at Silverstone qualifications for the British GP. 11th time for the Monegasque.

The feeling was also lacking in qualifying
Pending the possible investigation into Lance Stroll, we are however certain that Leclerc will do the rain dance. The number #16, which took to the track with the old pre-Barcelona configuration, in the FP3 he had indeed recorded times that did not live up to expectations, but his Classic Ferrari for sale he hadn't suffered from the bouncing that was seen on Friday.
The result obtained in qualifying, according to Leclerc, is the consequence of the choices made at Silverstone since the previous day:
"I've never had a good feeling with the car. Friday was very tough, we made comparisons, today we made a decision and went in one direction but we lost time. We haven't made the most of our potential when even a tenth makes a difference."
Never having lapped at Silverstone with that configuration was a handicap for Leclerc. The Monegasque does not consider it an excuse, as can be seen from his words:
"That's not an excuse though. We have lost the pace in the last few races. Is going back on updates a bad sign? On this track the rebounds were difficult to manage, perhaps in the next races we will use the new package. "
Will he be blessed with rain in the race tomorrow or will he have to face an uphill GP? Charles responds like this:
“Everything can help us. The worst thing will be a normal race with the same strategy for everyone. So I welcome the rain if it helps us.”
