Checkered flag waving in Holland, and which sanctions the end of this race scored once again by Max Verstappen, the Flying Dutchman who with this victory reaches 30 in his career.
No one better than Verstappen, Mercedes is back
Super Max Verstappen wins the Dutch GP in front of his cheering crowd from the first to the last lap of the grand prize. Excellent tire management and fast laps on every compound allowed the Dutchman to reach a truly impressive finish at his age. In second position he closes a very good one Mercedes with George Russell who tries the fast ride but fails to take it for 1 cent. In fact, this point also goes to the pet of the house. Hamilton e Perez end respectively in P4 e P5; Lewis, however, manages to be even at times faster than Max, but can't keep up with him on the restart of the Safety Car and has to surrender, with many controversies, to his team mate and a Charles Leclerc.
Ferrari, glass half full or half empty?
The two Ferrari they end in third and eighth position respectively with Leclerc in front of Sainz. The Monegasque tries in every way, but fails to keep the pace of those in front and has to settle for the lowest step of the podium. Totally different race for the Spanish to whom one is not good today: left rear late during the first pit stop in which he goes to lose 10 seconds e 5 second penalty for Unsafe Release that throw him from fifth position to eighth. Again, there's a lot to work on.
And the others?
Once again great placement for the Alpine which he manages to bring back two cars in the Top 10, with Alonso in P6 and Ocon in P9! Instead, it seems to have come back to life a bit in this grand prix Lando Norris ending in P7 and, seeing where it is Daniel Ricciardo (P17), is a very good result. To conclude the Top 10 there is a surprising Lance stroll. Then, in order: Gasly, Albon, Schumacher, Vettel, Magnussen, Zhou, Ricciardo and Latifi. Retreat to Holland Bottas and Tsunoda for gods engine problems.
