Suitcases packed and off you go. Not even time to understand what really happened in Austin, during the race and especially in the post, and it's already Race Week for Formula 1. We fly in Mexico, for the fourth to last appointment of the season with races which, the closer we get to the end, begin to offer ever greater spectacle. As always, when we refer to racing in America, the times to be monitored are, as in the case of this week's Mexican GP.
The strength of the champion
He wants to keep winning. The more time passes, or rather the races, the more his belly will never be satisfied. This is the philosophy of the cannibal Max. The Dutchman also won the US GP, albeit with less dominance. A race in which there was no shortage of suffering and, no use hiding it, doubts about a possible attack Hamilton second (however disqualified at the end of the GP), if he had not made a mistake in his strategy. With the success in Austin, Verstappen flies to 50 victories in Formula 1. A number that the three-time world champion wants to continue to update during this season, putting it in his sights Sebastian Vettel's 53 successes. An illustrious goal to reach, and not very easy if we consider that there are only four races to go, but the 2023 version of Verstappen has shown us that everything is truly possible. Pay attention to your teammate, Perez, master of the house and ready to do well.

Ferrari, in Mexico to earn more points
It may be absurd, although perhaps not that much, but the data speaks clearly. After all, it Diego also declared Igovernment in the post-race of the American GP: despite Leclerc's disqualification, the FIA decision to remove Hamilton from the list of participants also allowed Ferrari to gain points on Mercedes in the constructors' championship. To date, the situation seems to be clear: 344 for the Stella team, 322 for the Maranello team. Not a huge gap, actually. Precisely for this reason, although there should be no further updates on the SF23 (while Mercedes brought a new fund to Austin), there is trust at Ferrari. Mexico could represent a good track in which to snatch further points from Mercedes, considering the excellent top speeds displayed by the Red team last Sunday.

The Mexican GP live on Sky Sport
The show, and Austin testifies, continues to be there, as are the various objectives (albeit less illustrious than the titles). An unmissable appointment, therefore, with the Mexican GP: pay attention to the times, however. As always we run in the evening, with the race scheduled for Sunday 29 October at 21.00 pm. It will be possible to follow and not miss a single action on the track as usual live and exclusively on Sky Sport F1, streaming on NOW and free-to-air on TV8.
