The next appointment scheduled for F1 will take place in Azerbaijan, precisely in the capital, a Baku, now a fixed stage in the top category of motorsport since 2016. The race, in that year was won by Nico Rosberg for Classic Mercedes for sale.
A bit of history
Il Baku City Circuit it is a street circuit built in the old area of the city of the same name. Is long 6.003 meters and presents two DRS zones, one on the main straight and one on the straight after turn 2.
In the first edition, the grand prix was not referred to as the Azerbaijan GP, but European GP.

Let's go into more detail
The track is made up of curves a 90° in the first sector, followed by a zone very tight, that of castle, where you have to be more than precise in order not to risk accidents. The last sector is none other than the main straight, which has 4 rounds to take full.
A lethal combination for tires, especially those rear which, as seen in 2021, are very prone to overheating. In that year, in fact, we saw the explosion of those tires for Stroll and for the reigning world champion Max Verstappen. The main theme will therefore be that ofassetto: the teams will have to find a right compromise between a good speed of the tip in order not to lose too much in the last sector, but at the same time not to be too prone to degradation in the first two areas of the track.

Azerbaijan GP: who is the favourite?
Obviously, looking at the first three races of this season, one cannot fail to say that the favorites are not the riders from Red Bull. Let's remember, however, that this weekend there will be Sprint Race. Last season, the Milton Keynes-based team had some set-up problems between Saturday and Sunday: so we'll see if these problems arise again this weekend.
