The checkered flag is waving on the first grand prix of the season which saw an indomitable and unstoppable driver Max Verstappen win the Bahrain GP by conducting a race in total tranquility and without ever being framed.
Verstappen looks uncatchable and that Aston Martin!
In second position, completing the one-two for the Milton Keynes team he thought about it Sergio Perez, who, however, never reached the level shown by his teammate. In third position he concludes his race Fernando Alonso who carries his Aston Martin on the podium: first non-super stint with the red tire for the Spaniard who then recovered with the white tire and managed to climb from P6 to P3. Lance stroll, even after the operation on his wrists, he finishes his race in P6 aided mainly by the power of this Aston.
Ferrari, after a good qualifying disaster in the race
If in qualifying we had seen one red a little shinier than in free practice, in the race the story is changed and not a little: only one of the two Ferraris managed to complete the race, namely that of Carlos Sainz, who finished the grand prix in P4, never having the pace to defend against Alonso's attacks; while the race of Charles Leclerc ends 15 laps early due to a engine problem, probably that endothermic, when it was in P3 and, despite seeing the times of the Aston Martin, he probably would have managed to finish his race on the podium.

Behind Mercedes is an unknown factor, well Alfa Romeo and Williams
The two Mercedes, however, end in farm e sixth position respectively with Lewis Hamilton (which looked much more on the ball than the one seen previously) e George Russell. The German team (especially with George) did not appear so competitive and he will certainly have to study a lot to understand whether to overturn the project or not.

Among the other stables, honorable mention for Alfa Romeo and above all for Valtteri Bottas ending in P8, And for Williams which concludes in P10 Alexander albon and in P12 for the rookie Logan sargeant. To conclude the points area in P9 are Pierre Gasly.
