A week's break and then restart. There Formula 1 takes to the track and, after yet another race dominated by Max Verstappen a Barcelona, fly into Canada, in a stage that will have to tell us if whether or not what we saw in Spain was a simple illusion.
Ferrari, we need to get up
Inside Ferrari the situation is certainly not the best. If on the one hand - at WEC - we are celebrating the wonderful success of the 24H of Le Mans, in GES instead there were days characterized by a lot of work to try to understand why the SF-23, especially in the race, it turns into a car with many pace problems. The updates presented in Barcelona, as admitted by both Sainz and team principal Vasseur himself, they brought improvements to the car which managed to place on the front row during qualifying. Sunday always remains the most dangerous, but who knows, maybe from Canada we will finally be able to see the first results of a work that has taken place so far in Maranello - and continues to take place - but which cannot yet be defined as satisfactory.

Mercedes, the moment of truth
Who also worked hard, even fearlessly bringing new things to Monte Carlo (even though they were scheduled for Imola), and the Mercedes. In Spain, the Brackley team led the charge by reaching the podium with both drivers, to be precise Hamilton in second place in the rankings, while Russell he achieved an excellent third place – after starting twelfth. It is easy to believe that the Montmelò track could have been a simple exploit, and this is why the most difficult test begins for Mercedes from Montreal: give continuity to a newborn W-14B.
Forest fires, we run
Coming to Canada however, in recent days there has been a lot of talk about forest fires which are affecting the nation, significantly worsening the quality of the air in Quebec. From what is filtering, at least for the moment, the authorities wanted to clarify that the Grand Prix will take place without any kind of problem.
