Despite the checkered flag, which arrived about four minutes before the end of the clock due to rain, le qualifications of the Brazilian GP they also continue in the fateful post. This time, as in Mexico, the great protagonists are the stewards who, through their penalties inflicted on the pilots, have made new changes on the starting grid for the race scheduled for Sunday at 18.00 pm.
The reconstruction
Following qualifying, in which Verstappen took pole ahead of Leclerc and Stroll, three drivers were summoned for impeding: Russell, Ocon and Gasly. When we talk about an event like impeding, it is difficult to get away with it. As we wanted to demonstrate, the FIA decided to give a penalty to all three drivers involved in the affair during the qualifying of the Brazilian GP.

Brazilian GP: 2 penalty positions for the drivers
At the end of the various meetings held with the pilots, George Russell, Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly were penalized with 2 positions to serve on the starting grid. Such sanctions they will therefore be applied in Sunday's race, and not in the Sprint, scheduled for this evening at 19.30pm. With these penalties, Russell will start eighth, allowing a Norris (sixth) and others Sainz (seventh) to gain a position. The same goes for Alpine with Ocon moving up to fourteenth ahead of Gasly in fifteenth. They move up to the twelfth and thirteenth place Magnussen and Alexander Albon.
What happens to Fanta F1?
Bad news, therefore, for those at Fanta F1 who have chosen to bet on these drivers, as their initial score will be 0. A great shame, especially for Russell who had managed to conquer Q3, proving - in this respect - to be a certainty for his Fantasy Managers. On Sunday he will be called upon to make a comeback, to try to obtain a positive result that has been missing for quite some time.
