If this is Formula 1, we just have to make ourselves comfortable. The first, extraordinary, qualifying of the Bahrain GP season ends with the two Red Bull before all: Max Verstappen takes first place, ahead of Sergio Perez and Charles Leclerc.
Always super Max
We start from where we stopped at the tests: Verstappen flies and confirms his great strength. The RB19 proves to be an evolution of last season's car: very good in qualifying and (it would seem) also very good in terms of race pace. On this aspect, however, the proof of truth will come tomorrow, with the hypothesis of a stop that intrigues the Milton Keynes team and not a little.
Ferrari is there
"The direction is right”said Charles Leclerc at the end of qualifying. The Monegasque snatched third position, ahead of teammate Sainz fourth. The Redheads the great rivals of Red Bull are therefore confirmed and, tomorrow, Leclerc he will have new rubber which he will need to look for the binding. The performance on the race pace, compared to Red Bull, still remains a small doubt, but qualifying confirmed that Ferrari is there and is ready to attack.

Aston-Mercedes, let the challenge begin
It was not a confirmation to see Fernando Alonso conquer the fifth position. Aston Martin proves it can put Mercedes in trouble in a hypothetical third place in the constructors. It is clearly still early, but tomorrow there will be a big battle between these two teams: Alonso will in fact start from right in front at the two Mercedes with Russell sixth and Hamilton seventh. Lance Stroll's other Aston was eighth.
Ferrari, the engine is there
Positive results come both from home Alfa Romeo than in the Haas house. The Hinwil team rips the twelfth position of Valtteri Bottas and the thirteenth of Zhou, confirming the good performance seen in tests and at the beginning of weekend. The Ferrari-powered ones show that they are there and that they can have their say, also considering at Haas the tenth position of the returning Nico Hulkenberg. The only flaw, Kevin Magnussen only seventeenth.

Complicated beginnings
Beginners are not convincing. Great difficulties for Oscar Piastri who does not go beyond the eighteenth position. The Australian loses the first clash with his teammate Norris who places himself in eleventh box. Debut in qualifying to forget also for the Australian who will be called to a comeback race, like this like Nyck De Vries penultimate. Closes the ranking, surprisingly, Pierre Gasly's Alpine who starts his season with the French team in the worst possible way.

Tomorrow finally the race!
With these incredible qualifications, all that remains is to make an appointment at future with the Bahrain GP race. Have fun, Formula 1 has begun and is off to a great start.
