The starting grid of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix opens, somewhat surprisingly, with Charles Leclerc's Ferrari. The Monegasque, in the two qualifications disputed over the weekend, he proved to be clearly the fastest on track and will start ahead of Max Verstappen. The Dutchman, after failing to overtake Charles in the Sprint, will try right away the attack on the Monegasque's SF-23, considering that his Red Bull seems to have a much better pace. He'll try to be in the game too Sprint winner Sergio Perez. For the Mexican there is only one goal: a perfect start. Only then could we see a three-way fight for the win. Fourth place instead for Carlos Sainz still clear difficulties with the car.
Points goal
On the other hand, it does not lack grip Mercedes by Lewis Hamilton which opens the third row, in fifth position. Next to him, an old acquaintance of his, Fernando Alonso. The Spaniard's weekend isn't the best, but the problem with the DRS has to be considered which, in a race where top speeds are very important, risks having a significant impact. Instead, they will seek redemption after yesterday's bad Sprint Lando Norris, seventh, and Yuki Tsunoda eighth. Stroll's Aston and the other McLaren, Oscar Piastri's, complete the top ten.

Call to lift
Eleventh position for George Russell. The Friday qualifying it wasn't much for the Briton, who was called to a great comeback. Next to him, gains a position (following the Ocon penalty) Alexander Albon. If the Sprint had been a race, the Thai would have also scored points yesterday having hit the top ten, but he will try to make up for it in today's race. Behind him, the Alfa of Bottas and his teammate Logan Sargeant.

Motorized Ferraris on the bottom, with a start from the pit
Fifteenth position for Guanyu Zhou who will have the disappointing by his side Haas by Nico Hulkenberg. Not a good performance for the Ferrari-powered ones, with Magnussen who will start seventeenth with Pierre Gasly's Alpine next to him. Last place on the grid for De Vries nineteenth, with Esteban Ocon who will instead shoot from pit line for violation of parc ferme.
It is all ready
With this starting grid, we can say it: here we go! Appointment therefore not to be missed with the race that will start at 13.00.
