The Austrian weekend continues to provide twists and turns qualifying on Friday they extraordinarily saw Sergio Perez only finish fifteenth. Surprisingly, the two Ferraris in second and third place and Lando Norris in fourth with a Mclaren, which seems to have recovered with the updates (fitted only on the number 4) brought to the Red Bull Ring. However, the grill has undergone some slight changes…
What to expect in the race
After yesterday's sprint race, the undisputed superiority of Max Verstappen was reconfirmed as he only bothered Sergio Perez's start and gave him a twenty-one second gap after just 24 laps. An average of one second gained per lap for the Dutchman. However, thanks to the mixed conditions, some good battles were seen at the rear, with also differentiated strategies. This Sunday, however, no rain is forecast, and although the weather likes to change in Austria, clouds are only forecast for 18pm, by which time the Grand Prix will have already finished. Air temperature expected at 00° degrees when the traffic lights go out (source 3B meteorological).
We must therefore hope for a good start from the reds and a good race pace, on which Ferrari struggled a lot especially at the beginning of the season.

Change the grid: the last row is missing
The starting grid will change, in fact only 18 cars will start from the track grid. The cars of Nyck de Vries and Kevin Magnussen will start from the pitlane.
Nyck de Vries he should have been last on the grid, changes the rear wing, a specification of the beam wing (small carbon aerodynamic profiles positioned in the area of the rear exhaust, above the diffuser and under the rear wing) and the suspension set-up.
Kevin Magnussen , P19 in Friday's qualifying, will start with the Alpha Tauri driver, for him the changes affect the set-up and the gearbox.
The last row will therefore be missing at the start of the Austrian Grand Prix.
