The starting grid of the Abu Dhabi GP, the last of the season, opens with the man who dominated the 2023 vintage: Max Verstappen. Next to him is the Ferrari, now the classic red one, registered by Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque dreams of a possible success, as Vasseur admitted that “nothing is impossible", but trying to lay down the law on Verstappen certainly won't be easy. Leclerc will try to confirm its second place, in the hope of being able to allow the Ferrari – hypothesizing a possible comeback of Sainz – to finish second in the constructors' standings. A goal that is not very easy to achieve, if you consider the first silver arrow in the second row, with Russell starting fourth behind Oscar Piastri, third.

Top ten full of surprises
Fifth position instead for Norris. A good placing which, to be honest, remains a bit tight for the McLaren driver given his excellent weekend. Sixth, however, a surprising Yuki tsunoda, followed by Fernando Alonso and from Nico Hulkenberg which, once again, continues to be a great surprise in the top ten of the starting grids. Closing out the hypothetical points zone, on the fifth row, are Sergio Perez (ninth following the canceled time in the last attempt of Q3) and Pierre gasly.

Hamilton on the hunt for a comeback
Eleventh position for Lewis Hamilton. The seven-time world champion, also considering the qualifications in Las Vegas, is not experiencing an excellent period of form. Alongside him will be Esteban Or with who will try to conquer the not particularly distant points zone. Thirteenth, however, Lance Stroll which failed to shine following the two fifth positions achieved in the two previous Grands Prix. The Canadian will start ahead of Alexander Albon.
Starting grid Abu Dhabi GP: Sainz only sixteenth
Fifteenth place for a dull Daniel Ricciardo, clearly in more difficulty if we consider the excellent performance of his teammate. At his side will be Carlos Sainz. The Spaniard is looking for a comeback, following the elimination in Q1 (the first since Brazil 2019) achieved in Q1 in yesterday's qualifying. Seventeenth Magnussen ahead of Valtteri Bottas. Closing the starting grid of the Abu Dhabi GP, scheduled for 14.00 pm, are Guanyu Zhou and Logan Sergeant.
