Formula One prepares for the last week of race before the summer break. In fact, everything is ready, after what was seen in French, to fly into Hungary.
Hungary of redemption
Thirteenth round of the season. A Grand Prix that can represent a lot in the world. Ferrari is in fact called at the time of redemption, especially with Charles Leclerc. The error of the Monegasque in France it still weighs a lot. They are indeed well 63 points that separate him from Max Verstappen and, for this, the Hungaroring circuit represents a stage in which there is an obligation to redeem. “We will aim for the double” declared Mattia Binotto, immediately making clear the idea of the intentions of the Reds for this weekend. Race week in which Carlos Sainz instead it will look for continuity. The Spaniard is back from fifth place at Le Castellet, obtained after a splendid comeback having started second from last.
Moment of truth
It will be a very important stage for the Mercedes. The updates brought to France, at least in the race, they seem to have borne fruit. Hungary also has a smooth asphalt, with some irregularities in some points. For this, the Brackley stable studies the best solution (also in terms of updates) that can try to shorten the gap with the other two top teams. Mercedes needs the car: the pilot couple, and in France the concept was simply emphasized, it's the right one in order to try to get something important for this weekend.
McLaren-Alpine, we are only at the beginning
Hungary will be the moment of possible redemption for the McLaren. The Woking stables are still not convincing. After France, came the overtaking of the Alpine which conquered the fourth position in the constructors. For Norris, but above all for Ricciardo, the time has come to respond on track. The future of the Australian in fact, according to the latest, notwithstanding Siedl has confirmed it for next year, is far from it how obvious.
