These are very important weeks for many teams and riders Formula One. With six races to go, many are still fighting for the seat for 2023.
Complicated intrigue
One of the hottest chapters is at home Alpine. After the loss of Alonso need Piastres, the French team found itself without Esteban Ocon's teammate. They were mention many names: from Mick Schumacher to Nyck De Vries, without excluding Antonio Giovinazzi. To date though, the main favorite seems to be Pierre Gasley. The will of Alpine and the number ten on the grid is to close the deal quickly, but it all depends from AlphaTauri. The Faenza team is looking for a driver to replace Gasly and, after failed attempts for Herta(due to superlicense), the prime suspect appears to be Nyck de vries.
Gasly: “My future? It's not just up to me"
If so, Gasly would be free to be made official as an Alpine driver, definitively leaving the Red Bull ambit. On the subject, the same French helot expressed himself that he declared.
“These guys gave me my first Formula 1 win and my first chance. It doesn't mean I'll stay here for life because my ambitions in Formula 1 are to fight up front and that's what I want. It has been five years since I have been at AlphaTauri. We will see if I can do another year here, at the moment this is expected and if it happens I would give this team 110%”.
