Ready for another change. Formula 1, in particular Liberty Media, is indeed hard at work to perform a new change concerning the registration fee for the Circus.
Domenicali: "We have to protect the Formula 1 business"
I'm always many stables who, with the great growth of Formula 1, have thought of entering the category. To do it you have to pay an application fee of about 200 million dollars. A very substantial figure but which, according to what was stated by the CEO of F1 Stefano Sundays, is ready to increase: “The so-called anti-dilution payment was set at $200 million just a few years ago. This is because at the time no one expected that the value of this business would increase so much. Today the situation is totally different. It is our duty to make sure that we protect the business in the best possible way and look at the bigger picture."

The possible proposal
The idea is linked to one element in particular: if a team enters, the revenues of the ten teams currently present in the Circus would be lower than at present. This would hardly result in the teams agreeing to accept the entry of other builders. For this reason, the idea of Domenicali is to increase the registration fee to sufficiently compensate for the economic loss that the current teams would suffer. We still don't have certain news, but from what filters it seems that we want to raise the tax by 10% compared to the current one.
