After the break of three weeks, and a long abstinence for the enthusiasts, the Formula One she is ready to come back! As per tradition we fly in Belgium for one of the Grand Prix that most excites the drivers of the Circus.
Looking for escape
So we start again from Spa Francorchamps. A track at high risk for next year, even if the organizers are trying to make the most of it to confirm "The university of Formula One” in the calendar. For now though, it's time to focus on what this track can tell us considering the current season. In the Circus we start again from the domain of Max Verstappen. The Dutch driver, after winning the Hungarian GP, leads the world rankings with a good 80 points ahead of Charles Leclerc. For Red Bull, Belgium therefore represents an opportunity to get ever closer to the title, with new updates(bonded to the frame) ready to be developed in Milton Keynes.
Ferrari, it's the moment of truth
It will be a decisive weekend also for the Ferrari. The Maranello team is back from an absolutely forgettable race in Hungary. considering the strategy again. To start the second part of the season in the best possible way, it is inevitable to get off to a great start with the race in Belgium already starting uphill. Leclerc in fact should fit a new hybrid e already serve five penalty positions on the grid. Obviously, there are only rumors about it but the risk of a new penalty for the Monegasque is very high.
Mercedes, what are you aiming for?
Spa will also represent a very important stage for the Mercedes. The signals seen especially in Hungary by the silver arrows are very encouraging, especially if we consider the feeling that by now seems to have returned between Lewis Hamilton and the W13. At Spa we will have a clearer idea of the type of second part of the season that the German team will be able to do, whether to remain the loose cannon or try to fight for some victories.
All not to be missed
Finally, let's not forget that Belgium will be a fundamental stage for the new porpoising rules. For these reasons, the Spa Francorchamps weekend will be unmissable! We will leave as always Friday, with the first free practice session scheduled at 14.00, accompanied by second pm 17.00. Don't miss Saturday the qualification 16.00 and Sunday there race pm 15.00. It will clearly be possible to follow everything live and exclusively on Sky Sports F1.
