Between past and future. Frederic Vasseur he returns to speak and does so during the Christmas lunch with journalists in view of the next season of Formula 1, analyzing the various innovations that they will be present on the 2024 Ferrari: the 676. Confirmed, therefore, is the theme song of the first - and ultimately real - car designed by the French engineer who, almost a year ago, made his debut in Maranello in the role of team principal. “On the bright side, I'm still alive – Vasseur joked about his first year in red –. A year ago, when I arrived, I had to face a real challenge. I had to understand many things, all combined with the tests starting in Bahrain. Today, however, the situation is completely different: I know almost everyone and I have a very clear overview of the situation. The last season went pretty well, even though we know we shouldn't and above all we can not stop".
Vasseur: “We are working on the renewals of Leclerc and Sainz”
Vasseur's first year at Ferrari ended with a third place in the constructors' championship. And now comes the best part. The first issue to be resolved is that relating to renewal of the contracts of Leclerc and Sainz, both expiring in 2024: “The goals – admitted the team principal – it could be that of renew them before the start of the season. However, their contract expires at the end of 2024, so we still have a few months ahead of us. I said we would make a decision by the end of this year, but I have to admit that the last part was very challenging. I do not deny that, if I consider our initial plan, we are a bit late, but I don't think it's ultimately a problem. We will make a decision soon".

Vasseur: “The 676 Ferrari 2024 will be revealed on February 13. It won't be a revolution"
First the renewals, then the presentation of the 676 which will take place, as said by Vasseur, il 13 February"The Ferrari of 2024 will be presented on February 13th. The rest, however, you will discover on that date”. There is a lot of curiosity, especially in understanding how totally different the new red will be compared to that of 2023: “Say it will be a car revolutionary is actually not entirely right. Ultimately if we consider that we always have the same technical regulation, it's not like we can change much. I can say that we will change about 95% of the components. It may seem like I'm talking about a revolution, but it won't be”, concluded Vasseur.
