We know well how, in such a globalized generation, opinion on social media is fundamental. Everything that passes through multimedia channels is viewed by millions of people and, sometimes, can completely change the decisions of international companies. One of the most targeted teams in the Formula 1 context on social media it is the Ferrari, whose trail of non-victories and lack of titles makes it easy prey. In this case it was an opponent who took it out on Ferrari, a historic Red Bull technician: Calum Nicholas.
Calum Nicholas on Ferrari: “Every year they earn 1 million horsepower”
One's opinion is based above all on the number of followers: the more one has, the more one's ideas are listened to. Everything is accentuated by one's work, and if you work for a team like the Red Bull what you think matters to many. Calum Nicholas, senior power unit assembly technician from 2015, has its own channel, f1mech, with 23 thousand followers on X and 193 thousand up Instagram.
The mechanic of the Austrian team recently published a sentence on his profiles in which he spoke about the Formula 1 pre-season: “The phase before the start of a new season has never started until some random article states that Ferrari gained 1 million horsepower". Truly heavy words, which significantly mock a century-old brand like that of the prancing horse.

Harsh phrase, but how much truth is there?
Despite being a phrase really forte, you can't say anything wrong is being said. During the winter break, the rumors arising from Maranello are infinite. Most of these concern the simulator performance of the new single-seater Italian. Every year, the fans' eyes tremble with joy when they see this news, which however is not entirely accurate on the track. Nicholas himself said that it is impossible that these news are spread by Ferrari itself, but in reality the journalists are making it all up. Fans of the Italian team obviously hope that this year the music on the topic can definitively change.
