Ferrari has no intention of giving up as far as that is concerned the penalty imposed on Carlos Sainz in Australia. La Maranello stable in fact he presented appeal to the FIA, based on article 14.1.1 of the Sporting Code, to have a review on the accident involving their #55 and Fernando Alonso's Aston Martin.
Ferrari doesn't give up
Let's go slowly: penultimate lap of Australian Grand Prix. Following the umpteenth red flag, there is a new restart which, in turn 1, sees the incredible happen: Alonso, to avoid attacking Hamilton who was ahead, anticipate the braking and try an intersection of trajectory. This choice leads to contact with Carlos Sainz. Following the clash, the FIA decided to punish Sainz with a 5 second penalty that brought him from the fourth place conquered in the race to the last position. It seems fair to describe the incident according to this version as they are to tell us about it the data telemetry which could be an important weapon for Ferrari during the review.

The Sainz case will be analyzed on April 18
According to Chris Madland, the date on which the FIA will evaluate whether or not Ferrari has brought convincing evidence to change the decision taken by the race directors has been made official. The selected date is Tuesday 18th April. Below the tweet from Medland: "Ferrari's request to review Carlos Sainz's penalty in the Australian Grand Prix will be examined by the FIA on April 18 via an online meeting. It will be determined whether there is new and relevant evidence."
All that remains is to wait
All that remains is therefore to wait for the beginning of next week with Ferrari hoping, in view of Baku, to straighten the (current) zero points brought home from Albert Park.
