It was not the desired qualification for Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque, with his Ferrari in qualifications of the Australian Grand Prix, snatches seventh position behind teammate Sainz fifth.
Ferrari, a not very encouraging qualifying
There is undoubtedly work to be done at Ferrari. The Maranello team he had gods improvements during the weekend, which however were not enough to position itself (at least) behind Verstappen's Red BullConsidering Perez's mistake who will be forced to start from the rear, precisely from last place. Absolutely not to miss tomorrow's race, to understand what it is the positioning of Ferrari and how much the Rossa is in step with the other teams.

Leclerc: "I have to talk to the team"
It will certainly not be an easy match for the Monegasque who during the Q3 made the second attempt with only one out lap, which however was not enough to position himself in front. The reason? The possibility of pioggia but it didn't come in the end. Certainly not a great result for the Monegasque's SF-23 who explained its performance thus: "We were afraid that the rain would come. There's too much lacking to be up front. We need to understand and see what happened with the team: it was clear that I had to push, but Sainz was in front of me and was preparing for the flying lap. Personally I think I have a slightly more racing car, but this doesn't justify my seventh place: I had to do a better job”.
