La Classic Ferrari for sale SF-23 will return to the track Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th January in Barcelona. The newspaper Formu1a.uno launched the indiscretion. According to what is said, Ferrari is preparing to return to the track with last year's car: the SF-23. The reason behind this decision is linked to Pirelli tests that the Scuderia di Maranello will prepare to carry out on the Barcelona track. The objective of Ferrari, but above all of Pirelli, through these tests, will be to understand the performance of the Intermediate and Full Wet tires.

Ferrari, the return to the track for the Pirelli tests in Barcelona
However, it didn't end here. Ferrari, in fact, in addition to the tests at the end of January, will also return to the track the following week. Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 February it will be the opportunity to race on the Jerez de la Frontera track. For the occasion, as the Formu1a.uno magazine always updates, Ferrari should not be the only team that will support the tests. In fact, they should also take part Aston Martin e Mercedes Benz. Both teams, therefore, would prepare for the presentation of their cars, scheduled for the following week.
Tests ahead of the new season
Immediately after the tests, which are especially fundamental for Pirelli, it will be time to discover the new single-seaters for 2024: the first of the teams on track in Spain will be Aston Martin, next 12 February, followed 24 hours later by Ferrari – with project 676 – and since Mercedes on February 14th. The Brackley team has therefore chosen Valentine's Day to present the new W15. The objective of the 3 teams in question, almost useless to specify, will certainly be to try to get closer to Red Bull, total dominator of last season with Max Verstappen who concluded 2023 taking home 19 victories out of 22 races held.
