After the presentation-event of the single-seater last year, Ferrari has chosen to focus on maximum discretion and a virtual and essential launch, without fans and press. A strategy aimed at concentrating as much as possible on the project, avoiding distractions and reducing media hype. Be careful not to let your opponents see any details.
There is now less than a month left until the presentations of the 2024 single-seaters. There is a lot of anticipation to find out whether the teams will have continued with their philosophy, which in the case of Red Bull has proven to be the winning choice, or whether there will be a radical change as expected from those teams that have not collected much in the last two years. In particular, the focus is on Mercedes and Ferrari. The two teams that on paper could, or rather should, annoy Red Bull.
Head down and maximum concentration
Ferrari's Vasseur he knows that making promises at this stage of the year is quite risky. Last year the SF-23 was presented as a single-seater "born to win", complete with a maxi show at Fiorano with the public, the press and the usual enthusiasm that never fails when talking about the Italian Scuderia. But things went differently. Ferrari's season was much more difficult than that of 2022. The team collected only one victory from Red Bull, thanks to Sainz.
In 2024 the hope is to be able to compete again with the world champion team and be more consistent. Precisely for this reason the 676 project it should depart from the philosophy of the previous two years. To find out we will have to wait a few more weeks and perhaps even longer given that Ferrari is trying to keep the car hidden as much as possible, keeping a low profile.

Ferrari, the presentation of the 2024 single-seater will be online and without fans: the indiscretion
The new approach sees a change already in the presentation. The team will present the 2024 single-seater next 13 February. Compared to last year, however, in which the SF-23 ran right under the eyes of the fans and the press, as reported by Motorsport.com an online event is expected, similar to the events of direct competitors.
“On February 13th Ferrari will unveil the 676 as if COVID were still there. The sponsors are in (and rightly so), everyone else is out, including television. Meetings with managers, technicians and pilots will be virtual: 20-minute sessions via Zoom. The machine will be seen in the photos: it will not be the one that will debut in the tests in Bahrain, but the one at the 200 km filming day to be held in Fiorano. We hope she doesn't become a redhead 'masked' with photoshop shots.” reports Franco Nugnes.
The dry approach aims to preserve the real car and also not to inflate expectations too much in the event of a further flop from the team which wants to return to being considered a threat.
