Words of happiness and much satisfaction. From the three races held at the start of the season, there is one great certainty: Ferrari is back. After two very complicated years, the Red of Maranello finally returns to lay down the law. Everyone really likes the new car, or rather the “Beast”. It is useless to be able to hide the potential of Ferrari and, affirming a title is certainly not a heresy.
They know this very well in Maranello, as does President John Elkann who, very proud of his team's start to the season, has released new statements: “Two years ago we declared that we would have to work hard to get back to being competitive and , after two difficult seasons, the 2022 Championship has got off to an exciting start. Like all our fans around the world, I am delighted to be back competing at the highest level."
Brilliant start, but it's forbidden to fly on the wings of enthusiasm: “Having said this, we know that the season has just begun and that in Formula 1 – declared the President of the Red Team – one is always surrounded by fierce competitors. We must work tirelessly as a team to optimize every aspect of our performance. This is the spirit and approach that I look forward to seeing at Imola and throughout the season,” continued Elkann, also moving on to the Gran Turismo programmes: “2021 was the best season ever for Ferrari in the GT races, with the victory of the Drivers' and Constructors' world titles in the FIA World Endurance Championship and with victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This year we celebrate our 75th anniversary, a true milestone in the history of our company, and I would like to take a moment to thank the women and men who work for Ferrari. Their passion, competitive spirit and relentless desire to innovate have always driven our constant quest for performance on the road, track and beyond. So it is now and so it will be in the coming decades”.
