The expiry date of Leclerc's contract with Ferrari still remains to be understood. The Monegasque, as reported on the Scuderia's social media profiles, will sign a contract extension with the Reds. However, the details of this agreement are not yet known: Ferrari has in fact simply announced that Leclerc "will renew his contract with the Rossa" without specifying how long Leclerc's colors will be linked to the red of the Maranello-based team.
Immediately after the announcement, Ferrari will now be able to continue its preparation phase towards the 2024 season. A lot of attention, in addition to next year, will also be given to that concerning the 2026, the year in which the regulations relating to the power units will change and it cannot be ruled out that Ferrari's choice was to want to confirm the Monegasque in order to have with it, in a season that will be full of doubts, the first great certainty.
