The checkered flag waves on the very first edition of Las Vegas GP. After starting from pole position, Charles Leclerc he finished his race in second position, after an amazing fight with the two Red Bull. First with SuperMax, and after with Czech, on which an overtaking is invented masterpiece on the last lap to confirm P2.
Leclerc in interviews at the Las Vegas GP: "It was difficult at the start of the race"
In the ritual interviews immediately after the race, managed by David Coulthard, the Monegasque spoke about how it absolutely is amused during this grand prix. Continuing, he discussed managing his race, and how to first stint had even been level of Milton Keynes cars: “I had a lot of fun, although obviously I was disappointed that I only placed second. In the end, though, it was the best possible position. At the start it was very difficult: I think Max lost grip on the inside and threw me on the outside. Afterwards we had some pace and we passed it, and in general we were very strong”.

Leclerc, between misfortune and happiness
Next, the 26-year-old from red he focused on the crucial moment of the race, namely the Safety car caused by contact between Max and Russell. Even in this case, it was considered very unfortunate: “Overall it was a really good race. We had a bit of bad luck with the Safety Car. We didn't go back because we didn't know what the others would do. We opted to maintain our position on the track, but it was difficult with the older tires in the end. In conclusion, I really liked a second place with so many battles".
