It's extremely complicated to have to deal with the Ferrari seen in Mexico. La red clearly disappointed expectations concluding al fifth place with Sainz and sixth with Leclerc. However, it's not the positions that disappoint at Ferrari, but the absolutely anomalous (and anonymous) course of the race.

Inefficient changes
It was a bit of a strange weekend. Since Friday, despite the excellent first free practice session, the pilots had understood that something was wrong with the F1-75. The accident by Leclerc in the FP2 it seemed to have been a simple mistake, which can also happen on Fridays, but no one thought that it could actually be the beginning of many question marks. In fact, the first day of the weekend led Ferrari to change plans: over the FP3 they moved on to a less unloaded wing, Bahrain style. Result? Other turnabout. In fact, in qualifying the one that the two riders had mounted on the day of free practice was selected. Once again however, despite the fact that it looked as though Ferrari could fight for pole, neither driver came close to matching Verstappen's best performance.

Totally no weekend
With a rather atypical Saturday, the general thought was that the Maranello team had focused mainly on the race(which didn't seem to be a bad idea). Sainz started fifth, while Leclerc seventh. You knew it with two great ones Classic Mercedes for sale in front, as well as two brilliants Red Bull, a Ferrari was needed on the piece. Once again, however, the pace was lacking. "I gave my best, but we couldn't do more than that today" said Carlos Sainz after the race, who was unable to explain the big problems he had on the F1-75. The same goes for his teammate Leclerc who, after finishing in sixth place, confessed: “Today was a race in which there was no pace. We are one minute behind Max, which is a lot and makes us think a bit about Spa. We have to understand why we were so far away”.
Holy break
And now comes the break. A week off factor which, combined with the study, can allow Ferrari to understand why many fans, with this race, they had flashbacks of a 2021 that the Reds actually knew how to cancel in a big way.
