Three days of testing, one of which for each regular driver, plus a day divided between Shwartzman and Giovinazzi. This will be the duration of the pre-season tests to regain confidence with the track while waiting to be able to drive the new Ferrari for the 2023 Formula 1 season.
The return from vacation
The 2023 Formula 1 season is upon us and even earlier are i mid-February test and car presentations. As usual, Ferrari has organized three days of pre-season testing a Fiorano Modenese with the two regular drivers and the two reserves. Charles Leclerc Carlos Sainz, in addition to stocks, I'm this way recalled to Fiorano to continue the work, after being on vacation with their respective families and in the mountains.
The dates of the pre-season tests
Tuesday 24, Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 January they will be i giorni in which Leclerc, Sainz, Giovinazzi and Shwartzman they will race on the circuit of Fiorano Modenese, with the car of two seasons ago, the SF-21, as revealed by Julian Duchess, its Formula1a.one. Each titular driver, therefore Carlos and Charles, will have a whole day each, the first two of the program, while the two reserve pilots, Anthony and Robertand they will divide the other working day. The definitive confirmation, however, will only be given by the weather, given that light snowfalls are currently expected in the area. Alternative dates could be January 31st, February 1st and 2nd.
The new Ferrari
Ferrari 675 is the – provisional – name of the new car with which the Monegasque driver and his Spanish teammate will race in Formula 1 in 2023. It was born as evolution of the 674, a fast car, but one that has suffered a drop in performance… Yes, remember well: in the second part of its season.
Le expectations of all, by now, they are large, enormous. We noticed the big ones potential of the F1-75 last year and we also read articles about the new hopes for 2023. We have analyzed the trust of the Ferrari team in our previous article: In fact, the reliability problems of the Power Unit seem to have been resolved, with the recovery of the 15 HP discarded at the start and those "temporarily removed" towards the middle of the 2022 season. The hype is now more than high and we all hope a season of true redemption and triumph for Ferrari. In the meantime, we wish Charles, Carlos, Robert and Antonio a lot of fun on the track at Fiorano, to enjoy those days without much pressure on the rump.
