Welcome to the first triptych of 2023. A hat-trick with a special flavor, destined to tell us a lot about the rest of this season, especially for the FerrariBut not only.
The initial idea
The Imola stage, according to rumors, it would have been an important hub for Ferrari updates. After the bottom brought to Miami, that despite the difficulties seems to have paid off, they were expected for the sixth round of the season new updates to improve the performance of the SF-23. The most important change concerned the rear suspension. The goal of the Maranello team remains that of creating an "anti-squat" prototype to try to prevent the car from, as admitted by Leclerc in the Miami post, “touch down”.

Ferrari, the suspension will arrive in Barcelona
There is a slight change though. Based on what Franco Nugnes reports from Motorsport.com, it seems that at Ferrari, following the briefing held in Maranello before leaving for Imola, they have decided to postpone the arrival of the "Imola" components to the Barcelona GP. The motivation is strongly linked to the weather conditions, which have not been the best for a few days. Considering therefore the strong risk of rain during several sessions of the weekend, Ferrari has decided to postpone the arrival of the rear suspension.
Everything is decided in Spain
All postponed to Barcelona. The last stage of the hat-trick will therefore be fundamental for the red as we shall see all the upgrade package mounted on the SF-23 which will, as admitted by Sainz, also have some different shapes. All we have to do is wait a little longer: Montmelò will be a total “all in" for Ferrari, which strongly hopes to be able to hit the jackpot.
