The grid for the 2025 season is finally complete, with the announcement of Liam Lawson at Red Bull and Isack Hadjar in Racing Bulls. A season that promises to be exciting, with significant changes among the teams and six rookies ready to bring freshness and new challenges to Fantasy F1.
How top teams change
Among the big protagonists, McLaren is the only team that has not changed its line-up. After having won the constructors' title in 2024, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri remain a very solid pair, ready to confirm their dominance and aim for the drivers' title. Their continuity represents a certainty for both fans and Fantasy F1 players.
The story is different for the other top teams. Red Bull, after a disappointing 2024, said goodbye to Sergio Perez and promoted Liam Lawson, preferring him to Yuki Tsunoda. “Liam’s race pace and his mental resilience convinced us,” said Christian Horner, leaving the door open for Tsunoda to return if necessary.
At Ferrari, the arrival of Lewis Hamilton alongside Charles Leclerc has raised title hopes for the Prancing Horse, while Mercedes is banking on the young talent Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who will partner George Russell. A generational challenge that promises sparks on the track and great interest in Fanta F1.

Perez's farewell and other changes
For Sergio Perez, 2025 marks the end of his journey in Formula 1. After a disastrous 2024, the Mexican leaves Red Bull and the Fantamanagers closing a season that saw them accumulate disappointing results both on the track and at Fanta F1. Valtteri Bottas, Kevin Magnussen, Zhou Guanyu and Franco Colapinto also leave the scene, with destinies that are decidedly less noisy but that make room for the new generation.
In particular, Zhou has been a great strategic choice for Fantasy players thanks to his frequent last-place bonuses, proving to be a useful piece despite his limitations on the track.
There were also many changes of team at the back, with Sainz in Williams, Hulkenberg in Stake, Ocon in Haas.
A young grid full of rookies
The 2025 season welcomes six rookies: in addition to Lawson and Hadjar, Gabriel Bortoleto (Stake F1), Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes), Oliver Bearman (Haas) and Jack Doohan (Alpine) are ready to test themselves on the big stage of F1. These young talents will bring new dynamics to Fanta F1, even if for some of them we have already had a small taste.

The 2025 grid: here are the 20 drivers that we will see at Fanta F1

Rivalries and surprises at Fanta F1 2025
With the new driver pairings and the mix of experience and youth, the Fantasy F1 2025 will be more unpredictable than ever. The internal battles between teammates, such as Russell against Antonelli in Mercedes or Gasly against Doohan in Alpine, promise sparks. And if McLaren starts as the favorite, Ferrari and Red Bull will be ready to challenge the dominance of the English team.
Who will be the protagonists of Fanta F1? The bets are open: all that remains is to wait for the start of the new season to find out.
