Filed on Barcelona weekend, it's time to turn the page and look at the Canadian GP. In Montreal, between close walls, long straights and reduced aerodynamic load, FantaF1 can become an unpredictable roulette. But for this very reason, the right choices can make the difference. Here are the Recommended for FantaF1 of the Canadian GP.
Top driver, yes but with caution
Among the top drivers, however, two names emerge in the FantaF1 key but with very different motivations. The first is Max Verstappen, who has always won in Montreal since the COVID period. The statistics are in his favor, but there is a cloud hanging over his weekend: the possible race ban, a threat that could materialize at any moment. Furthermore, on a circuit where pole is often decisive - just think that in 21 out of 43 races the one who started in front has won - even a small mistake on Saturday could compromise everything.
Yet, as has already happened on other complicated weekends, Max always manages to surprise. In FP1 he finished with the best time, while in the second he showed an excellent race pace. All positive and encouraging signs, even if anything can still happen.

The second name is that of George Russell. After his fourth place in Spain, the Briton may have regained confidence, both personally and in the entire Mercedes team. There are still some doubts about reliability, which clearly emerged with Antonelli in Barcelona, but Russell has shown he can be consistent and incisive.
If the German team can manage the details better, George will be able to fight for the positions that matter. FP2 saw him set the fastest time with the medium mix. Need we say more?!
Low budget? Solid choices from the center and bottom of the grid
One of the names to keep an eye on, especially for those who want to free up budget without giving up potential, is Alexander albonThe Williams driver comes from a disappointing weekend in Spain, where he finished with a deficit of 14 points, but this is precisely what has made his stock fall to 16 yaws. A value that, on a favorable track like the Canadian one, can transform into a smart investment.
Last year he finished seventh here, and if Barcelona was just a negative episode linked to the layout not suited to his car, Albon could become competitive again.
A special mention goes to Oliver Bearman. The Haas rookie is proving to be a pleasant surprise in terms of FantaF1: with an average of 6,17 points he is the debutant who is giving the most satisfaction. His rating is also at 16 yaws, but remains accessible, especially considering his potential on the Canadian track. If Haas can find a good race pace, Bearman could be one of the hits of the weekend.

For those who have to deal with a limited budget, the Sauber drivers represent interesting choices. Nico Hulkenberg It's a guarantee: it only costs 12 yaws and comes from an excellent race closed in the points zone, with even overtaking Lewis Hamilton. For those who want to risk the bare minimum, it is the perfect option.
More daring but intriguing is the choice of Gabriel Bortoleto: With 8 yaws, the Brazilian is among the ideal candidates for those aiming for the last-placed bonus, an option not to be discarded from a strategic perspective.
