The Grand Prix of Monza he wrote an unforgettable chapter in the history of Ferrari. Charles Leclerc scored a stunning home win, restoring strength and hope to the Scuderia which, after months of difficulty, is smiling again. A smile that brings to mind the last red success in Monza, in 2019, but which has a decidedly sweeter flavour. At that time, Ferrari seemed to be reborn, but the difficult period that followed that season dulled, for a while, the hearts of the fans. Now, Leclerc has revived that passion, giving an emotion that surpasses that of the past, a true hymn to hope and resilience. And that now adds further spice to the season, with McLaren having seen the scepter taken away. Was it an exception or not? To find out, we should wait to see the updated SF-24 on the next tracks. But in the meantime Let's see the best and worst of the Monza GP on Fanta F1.
Monza GP top
- Charles Leclerc: Leclerc's victory was an explosion of talent and determination. Taking advantage of the battle between the McLaren, Leclerc performed a masterly overtaking move, marking the way to a triumph that will remain etched in the memory of the fans. In addition to conquering the top step of the podium and gaining three positions compared to the starting position, Leclerc was voted Sky's best driver for his masterful management of the race, earning him further points for Fantasy managers. His ability to capitalise on opportunities and maintain impeccable pace in the race has shown that, when he is on form, he is difficult to keep at bay.

- Oscar piastri: The Australian's performance was noteworthy. Piastri showed remarkable skill at the start, overtaking Norris at a critical moment at Roggia and taking the lead straight away. Although the McLaren had its issues, Piastri's race pace was solid and his race management impeccable, highlighting his growing talent and determination to succeed.
- Franco Colapinto: Colapinto's debut was very positive. Despite starting from 18th position, the Argentine managed to climb up to 12th place, gaining six positions and demonstrating that he has the potential to carve out an important space for himself in Formula 1. His debut was a breath of fresh air for the Fantasy managers orphaned by Sargeant.
Monza GP flop
- George Russell: Russell's race was marked by a difficult start and a series of unexpected events. An unlucky start and a broken front wing complicated his race, forcing him to make a grueling comeback from the back. Despite his efforts, Russell was unable to recover significant positions, thus finishing in a disappointing position compared to expectations.
- Daniel Ricciardo: After his triumph in 2021, Ricciardo had a race well below his potential. Penalties received and a lack of pace contributed to an unsatisfactory performance. Far from the brilliant performances of the past, Ricciardo seems to be looking for redemption, but his race in Monza certainly did not help to improve his situation. And in the meantime, the races to be run are down to 8. The countdown has begun.
- Max Verstappen: Verstappen's weekend was not without its problems. The world champion showed frustration with the lack of performance of his RB20 and had moments of tension on the radio with the team. Max is no longer the protagonist, and this weighs heavily on Fanta F1 too.
