The first part of the Austrian GP saw the undisputed dominance of a single driver: Max Verstappen. Already after getting the Sprint Pole, winning the Sprint race and getting the pole position for the main race, Verstappen was extremely satisfied with his performance Red Bull, stating that he had finally found the right feeling with the car after a period of difficulty. The gap inflicted on the opponents in qualifying, and in the Sprint with Lando Norris second, further away than the previous races, speaks for itself. But you know, the race is more unpredictable. Austria always reserves surprises and battles that can change the outcome of an entire weekend. So let's see the tops and flops of the Austrian GP at Fanta F1.
Top of the Austrian GP
George Russell: as we said, some brawls can change the outcome of the race and in this case, between the two litigants, namely Norris and Verstappen, it was the third, George Russell, who enjoyed it. Russell suddenly found himself first after a consistent race. There Mercedes' first victory of the season came in a totally unexpected way. The contact between Verstappen and Norris opens the doors for George who just has to take it home without taking too many risks in the final laps. A great victory for Russell and his Fantasy managers still stunned by what happened.
Oscar Piastri: Oscar Piastri also concludes another good weekend, despite the difficulties. However, there is some regret for the Fantasy managers of the good Australian. In fact, if he had not exceeded track limits in qualifying he would have held third position and probably he would have been in Russell's place. Too bad, it'll be for next time.
Nico Hulkenberg: double points placing for Haas and sixth place for Nico Hulkenberg. A masterpiece from the American team. It's raining points at Fanta F1.

Austrian GP flop
Charles Leclerc: a difficult period for the Cavallino Fantasy managers. Ferrari had arrived in Austria with the aim of regaining competitiveness after the introduction of the updates in Spain. However, the situation seems more complicated than expected and it will take time to get back into shape considering the challenging hat-trick. Also in Austria Charles Leclerc returns home with a disappointing performance conditioned by a fatal contact at the start with Piastri. The broken wing forces Charles to immediately return for a stop which transforms a difficult race into a solo race. A great shame considering the fact that Sainz managed to finish on the podium after what happened between Lando and Max.
Max Verstappen: a total disaster. It's strange to see Max Verstappen making mistakes but this time the pressure was felt. Apparently the Dutchman had everything under control, with a decent lead over Norris but then the magic ended, the tires ran out and the mistakes started to appear. Norris' proximity led Max to an extreme defense, even too much so. After several close duels, contact occurred which led to Norris' retirement and a penalty for Max Verstappen who finished in P5. It couldn't have been done worse than that. Yet it's not like we're talking about an F2 or F3 race.

Land Norris: the PT.2 disaster. Verstappen is to blame for the contact but Lando also perhaps pushed his hand too far by trying to attack Max everywhere and taking too many risks. Neither of them would give up. This time it went worse with Lando forced to retire. A weekend wasted for a contact.
