Cari Fantasy manager grab a coffee and make yourself comfortable, it's time to decree the tops and flops of the Australian Grand Prix.
We can only start with the Tops, and with the winner of this Grand Prix.
TOP
CHARLES LECLERC
His talent perhaps can only be compared and measured with his ambition. Enough to make him doubt a fast lap already beautiful than archived. He takes the "asphalt carpet" and the applause of the public that accompanies him to the parc fermé. Charles Leclerc with his performance, because we can only describe it like this, it gave the most beautiful good morning to Italy, and to all those fans who dream of seeing the historic Maranello team come back to fight for the title. Charles runs away from the standings after an almost perfect weekend. He doesn't even fight, such is the power that he manages to extract from the red. The Leclerc-mania has started. Unsurpassed, cold nerves and hot feet. The world championship is within his reach. Pole, fastest lap, victory, Sky rider, finishes ahead of his teammate. He does the en plein as only champions can do.
SERGIO PEREZ
He was sweating cold since Max's car had to stop due to a problem but Perez managed to bring home an excellent second place despite everything. Also in qualifying the Mexican improved a lot and despite a somewhat complicated start, he was able to react and take back the position on Hamilton with a risky overtaking. The confrontation with the partner, out, leads to the home of Fantasy manager who bet on Perez, even a further +1.
ESTEBAN OCON
The Frenchman has 20 points in the standings against Alonso's 2, who however was unable to finish the last race due to an engine problem. But if the Spaniard started the weekend with his extravagant adventures and master strokes making us savor an excellent result, it was once again Ocon who brought the team into the points in silence. His low price at Fanta F1 is a godsend for those who have decided to make a low-risk investment. Thanks Esteban!
FLOPS
MAX STEPS
It would be worth saying "poor seagull you have lost your mate" to Max referring to poor suffering RB18. A withdrawal that weighs a lot, and which makes Max slip to sixth position in the standings, as well as making the Fantamanagers curse who dreamed of seeing him in at least a second place. I'm already 2 outs in 3 games for him. A difficult weekend, also considering that Ferrari will arrive at Imola with great confidence unlike Red Bull who will arrive with great uncertainties.
SEBASTIAN VETTEL
Sebastian went from one tractor to another in two years. If the SF1000 was disastrous, the AMR22 wants to be its worthy rival. 0 points and last in the standings. It's not an ideal situation considering that Sebastian is getting close to retiring and on the other side there's Stroll who will put himself on the line 1 out of 3 weekends if he says it right. And to think that the last victory in Melbourne for Ferrari was signed by dear Sebastian. A car that is difficult to understand even just for how it appears to the public, still without updates, with so many reliability problems and poor maneuverability that the German hits the wall not once, but twice this weekend.
Carlos Sainz
The exultation is bittersweet for Ferrari because, if from one pole of the standings in Melbourne there is a winning Ferrari, on the other, the one further down there is another, that of Carlos Sainz. A really difficult weekend for the Spaniard who, considering the end of the race and the monstrous pace of the F1-75 today, could very well have aspired to a podium instead going to George Russell's Mercedes. Too much hunger in this case didn't pay off, and gave Sainz his first retirement since he's been racing with Ferrari. The comparison with Leclerc continues to bend a bit, tending towards a single alternative, that of a worthy subordinate of the Monegasque.
